March marked Happy Bark’s first anniversary of reimagined rescue. Our modest goal for our first 12 months was finding forever homes for 25 dogs.
Instead, we placed 250.
On our anniversary weekend, we celebrated the special people who made these 250 happy barks possible: the families who open their homes to the dogs while they waited for adoption. We snuck public expressions of gratitude into their yards to say thanks and call attention to their good works.
